Bryce Dessner is guitarist for The National and Clogs. He has played with Sufjan Stevens' band and as a member of Bang on a Can All-Stars. He co-founded Brassland and is the curator of the Music Now Festival in Cincinnati.
As a performer, Bryce plays both solo classical guitarist, and in rock and new music settings on the electric. He has been a featured artist at the New York Guitar Festival including and was commissioned to write a new piece for the 2006 Festival.
Bryce has performed and collaborated with some of the world?s leading musicians including cellist Erik Friedlander and composer Michael Gordon, pianist/composer Philip Glass, and singer/songwriter Sufjan Stevens.
