Brassland is an artist-operated label started in 2001 by Alec Hanley Bemis and twin brothers Aaron and Bryce Dessner. We began with a pair of debuts by Clogs & The National, but our goal was to develop a community of creative folk, and the family has grown to include work by Nico Muhly, Buke & Gass, and Doveman among others. On our 10th anniversary, we're giving away a song-a-day all month to celebrate.
