Brassland is currently seeking interns and helper people who live in the New York City area to come help out at our Brooklyn office. If you don't live in the area, no biggie - we can also use assistance maintaining our presence on the information superhighway (MySpace, Flickr, this website). High Violet Charts at #3, Almost Tops that Bieber Kid - May 21, 2010

If you visit this site regularly, then you've probably listened to The National before. And there's also a good chance you know about their new album, High Violet. As it turns out, you're not alone. On Wednesday, Pitchfork reported that America's tuning in, too, with High Violet selling 51,000 copies in its first week and charting at #3 on the Billboard 200, behind only Justin Bieber ("The Biebs") and Lady Antebellum (no nickname).
